Kanpur court to hear case against 'PK' poster today

Kanpur, Aug 7 (IBNS): A court in Kanpur will hear the case on Thursday against Aamir Khan-starrer movie ‘PK’ poster in which the Bollywood actor is posing nude.

The complaint was filed on August 2 by lawyer Manoj Dixit who had accused actor Aamir Khan, producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra and director Rajkumar Hirani of promoting nudity and vulgarity in the film.

The court had listed the case for August 7.

The petitioner had mentioned that such attempt by Aamir Khan, who has a significant influence on the young generation, would only temp the youth to imitate him, thereby threatening the social order.

It was also mentioned in the petition that it would lead to cases of sexual offences.
