Indian man assaulted in New Zealand

Auckland, Mar 6 (IBNS): An Indian national has claimed that he was assaulted and subjected to a racist tirade during a road rage incident in New Zealand's Auckland city recently, media reports said.

Indian national Narindervir Singh filmed the incident from his vehicle and streamed it live on Facebook.

Newshub quoted Singh as saying in the video: "I gave him a space ... that lady gave me the finger. He was driving that car [pointing to a white Holden] and now he's trying to threaten me, giving me bad names."

The abuser is seen in the video wearing a grey Everlast t-shirt.

"It really shocked me and after he [left], I was really shaken," Singh told Newshub.

"I don't know what to do, it really hurts my heart ... The first thing in my mind was that he might hurt me with some weapon," he said.
