Panaji:  'Hindu Rashtra Sansad' (Parliament), which was organised as part of the 10th Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Rashtra Adhiveshan, being held in Goa on Wednesday demanded that words 'secular' and 'socialist' should be deleted from the Indian Constitution.

"If the western constitutions are being drafted on the basis of the Bible in Christian-majority countries and on the basis of Quran-Hadith in an Islamic countries, then why is it secular while drafting the Indian Constitution ?" the 'Sansad' questioned.

It said the exact definition of 'Sect' and 'Religion' should be clarified in the Indian Constitution.

'In 1976, Indira Gandhi forcefully made the 42nd Amendment to the Constitution and forcefully inserted the words 'Secular' and 'Socialist' into the Constitution. As this act is unconstitutional, the words 'Secular' and 'Socialist' should be removed from the Constitution',' it said.

The 'Sansad' said it should be ensured by the Election Commission whether the promises made by the political parties in their manifestos during the election period are being fulfilled or not, by giving these manifestos the status of statutory documents.

At the same time, it was decided that the performance of each MP should be evaluated by the citizens of his constituency every year.

The Sansad also demanded that cases under Sedition Act should be registered against those who have issued fake Voter Identity Cards and Aadhar Cards to infiltrators like Rohigya or Bangladeshis.

'Anti-Conversion Act should be legislated in the Indian Parliament, evidence should be sought before the Women's Commission from the Hindu girls who marry Muslims by performing 'Nikah' that they are not being forcibly converted or physically exploited, efforts should be made to repeal the Places of Worship Act of 1991,'Gurukul Education Board' should be established on the lines of the 'Madrasa Board' and it should be ensured that the head of education department in the Gurukuls was proficient in Vedas, Sanskrit language,' the 'Sansad' demanded.

Advocate Umesh Sharma, Advocate of the Supreme Court, was 'appointed' as the Speaker of the Sansad, and Ramesh Shinde, National Spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, and Chetan Rajhans, National Spokesperson of Sanatan Sanstha oversaw the work as Deputy Speakers.
