Mumbai, June 21 (IBNS) Even as monsoon hit Maharashtra to bring relief from the hot, humid days, Mumbaikars were in for deep trouble as railway services, the life line of the city, malfunctioned for the second day on Tuesday following heavy rains.
Reports said several local trains running on the Central line were abnormally delayed or cancelled, keeping thousands of commuters waiting in stations in the morning peak hours.

. Commuters were stranded at platforms as trains were delayed by over half an hour, and a number of services were cancelled as well.

To make matters worse, the strike called by black and white taxis made the time harrowing for the people.
