Gurgaon: Bodyguard shoots additional sessions judge's wife, son

Gurgaon, Oct 14 (IBNS): In a chilling incident, additional sessions judge Krishan Kant's  wife and son were shot at by his personal security officer in Gurgaon.

Both the mother and son succumbed to their injuries, media reports said on Sunday.

On Saturday evening, Krishan Kant was in a meeting with another judge in the Gurgaon when he received a call from his personal security officer.

During the call, he informed the judge that he shot his wife and son.

Head constable Mahipal (32) shot the judge's wife Ritu and his 17-year-old son Dhruv.

He attacked them in front of hundreds of horrified people near Arcadia market.

While the mother received two shots at the chest and stomach, Dhruv got hurt on shoulder and head.

The shooting happened on the road just outside the market in front of hundreds of weekend shoppers.

After Mahipal left, local people took the mother-son duo to a nearby hospital.

Mahipal was arrested two hours after the shooting from Gwalpahari on  Gurugram-Faridabad road.
