Five dead in Uttar Pradesh road accident

Fatehpur, Mar 4 (UNI) Five people including three minor girls died on the spot while ten others sustained injuries when a jeep carrying more than 15 passengers rammed into roadside tree in Hussainganj area on Monday.

Police sources said a jeep carrying about 15 passengers dashed into a roadside tree in Hussainganj area at Hussainganj-Hathigram road in Uttar Pradesh resulting in on the spot death of five.

Deceased were identified as Ramesh (45), Aarti (20), Priya (5), Sonam (8) and Neha (14).

Injured were rushed to the district hospital where condition of three was stated to be critical.
