Farooq Abdullah condoles passing away of Amanullah Khan

Srinagar, Apr 26 (IBNS): National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Working President Omar Abdullah on Tuesday condoled the demise of founding member of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Amanullah Khan in Pakistan.

“Praying for peace to the departed soul, Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Mr. Omar Abdullah have extended their heartfelt condolences to Mr. Khan’s
family in their hour of grief and loss,” said a spokesman.

Various senior leaders of the party have also condoled the demise of Amanullah Khan and prayed for peace to the departed soul, he added.

Khan passed away on Tuesdayin Rawalpandi of Pakistan, reports reaching here said. He was 81.

Amanullah Khan breathed his last at a hospital early in the morning after fighting a year-long battle with a  chronic lung disease.
