Devendra Fadnavis' wife Amruta Fadnavis sends legal notice to Nawab Malik

Mumbai/UNI: Amruta Fadnavis, wife of former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, on Thursday sent a legal notice to state minister Nawab Malik for 'tarnishing the image of her family' through his alleged defamatory tweets.

In the notice, she mentioned the alleged baseless and defamatory statements.

Meanwhile, Nawab Malik's son-in-law Sameer Khan on Thursday sent a legal notice of Rs five crore to Fadnavis.

Earlier, Fadnavis had refuted Malik's allegations connecting the senior BJP leader and his wife to an alleged drug peddler.

The Nationalist Congress Party leader also named one Neeraj Gunde, who he said is associated with Fadnavis and has been often seen at the Narcotics Control Bureau office here.
