Delhi's Siganture Bridge over Yamuna to be inaugurated today

New Delhi, Nov 4 (IBNS): Delhi’s Signature Bridge over the Yamuna in northwest part of the city, having selfie points, will be inaugurated on Sunday.

Inviting public, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia tweeted on Saturday: "Delhi! Here is your pride ..The Signature Bridge ..
Ready to welcome you tomorrow for inauguration ceremony.. 4pm onwards.. Sunday. 4th Nov."

The bridge was constructed over a span of 14 years.

It will be thrown open for public use from Monday onward.

Manish Sisodia has compared the 575-metre bridge to that of the Eiffel Tower as he claimed that people will be able to enjoy a similar panoramic view of Delhi like that in Paris.

Four elevators will operate to take 50 people to the top of the bridge at a time.

The bridge will have a 154-metre-high glass viewing box, which is double the height of Qutub Minar.
