Decline in ex-Indian President Pranab Mukherjee's medical condition

New Delhi/UNI: Former President Pranab Mukherjee's medical condition has declined as compared to Sunday, as he is into a septic chock due to the lung infection and continues to remain in deep coma.

Mukherjee's condition is being monitored by a team of specialists , as he continues to be on ventilator support, the R&R hospital said.

His renal parameters had got deranged on Wednesday.

The veteran Congress leader was admitted to the hospital on August 10 , and had to undergo an emergency life saving brain surgery after discovery of a clot.

He had also tested positive for Covid-19.
