Congress RS member Sanjay Singh's estranged son joins BJP in Amethi

Amethi, Dec 22 (IBNS): Congress Rajya Sabha (RS) member and former Amethi royal Sanjay Singh’s estranged son Anant Vikram joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday, media reports said.

Sanjay Singh’s son from his first wife Garima, Vikram joined the saffron brigade in the presence of state BJP President Laxmikant Bajpai. 

With my entry, the BJP will be strengthened in Amethi. If given a ticket, I would fight elections,” said Vikram.

Sanjay Singh is a current RS MP from Assam.
