New Delhi, Jan 14 (IBNS): A church was vandalised in west Delhi's Vikaspuri area early on Wednesday morning, media reports said.

According to police sources, two people came on a scooter around 4.20 am while one of them entered the premises and smashed a glass window. The miscreant also threw the statue of Mother Mary on the floor.

The footage of CCTV cameras installed inside the church and outside is now being verified to identify the attackers. Sources said there have been altogether three such attacks on churches in the national capital recently.

The police said they had received a call from the church at 7.30 in the morning. The sleuths took the CCTV footage for further investigation and already lodged an FIR.
