Chavan to skip event with Modi in Nagpur
Mumbai, Aug 21 (IBNS): Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan might not share the dais with Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the launch of Nagpur Metro in Maharashtra on Thursday.
The Congress said that “no self-respecting CM will attend functions if BJP supporters boo him in the presence of Modi.”
Earlier, Chavan had been heckled by crowds at events he attended with the PM at Raigad and Solapur last week. After the experience in the events, he had said: “What happened was politically motivated.”
