Case filed in AIIMS Delhi cyber attack issue

New Delhi/ UNI: Delhi Police on Thursday registered a case on the basis of a complaint from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) about a cyber-attack on its server. Now the hospital services are running on manual mode, police said.

According to police, an FIR under section 385 IPC, 66/66F IT Act has been filed by the Special Cell of Delhi Police, IFSO unit and an investigation is being done.

Earlier in the day, a complaint regarding a cyber-attack was lodged by the Additional Security Official AIIMS Delhi, on this basis a case has been registered.

Various government agencies are investigating the incident and supporting AIIMS in bringing back digital patient care services. Online services are hoping to restore the accepted activities soon.

Meanwhile, all emergency and routine patient care services and lab services are being managed manually.
