Body of Indian man found floating in Sharjah's Khalid Lagoon

Sharjah, Apr 10 (IBNS): Body of an Indian man was found floating in Sharjah's Khalid Lagoon on Tuesday, media reports said.

The Sharjah Police have started investigating the incident.

"The police received a call from a passerby on Sunday night reporting the existence of the floating body. A team comprising of police officers, forensic experts, crime scene specialists, patrol and ambulance reached the site and fished out the body and shifted it to the forensic laboratory for autopsy," reported the Khaleej Times.

The cause of the man's death is still not known.

Police said there were no signs of violence on the deceased person's body.

The police said forensic report will reveal the cause of the death.
