Police sources said that the bodies of a 15-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl were recovered near the eastern side of the railway station.

"While the boy has been identified as Satish Chaudhary, a resident of Ballia village, efforts were being made to ascertain the identity of the girl," they said.

Police sources said that police stations in the neighbouring areas have been contacted to identify the girl.
