BJP's Rajeev Chandrasekhar will defeat Shashi Tharoor in Kerala's Thiruvananthapuram: Exit Poll

| @@indiablooms | Jun 02, 2024, at 05:57 pm

Thiruvananthapuram/IBNS: Congress MP Shashi Tharoor may face a setback in Kerala's Thiruvananthapuram seat with pollsters predicting a possible win for BJP candidate and central minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar against the INC heavyweight, according to Exit Poll prediction Saturday.

As per the India Today-Axis My India exit poll survey, Rajeev Chandrasekhar stands a chance of winning in the Thiruvananthapuram seat.

The poll suggests that Shashi Tharoor may lose the constituency that he has been representing for the last three terms.

Tharoor secured victory here in the last election with 99,989 votes.

Meanwhile, the Times Now ETG survey showed BJP's Thrissur Lok Sabha candidate Suresh Gopi will win.

The survey also projected one seat for the BJP, four for the ruling Left led by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan while the Congress-led UDF may win 14 to 15 seats.

However, the ABP C-Voter has projected that the Vijayan-led Left will not win a single seat while the India Today-Axis My India has projected zero to one seat for the Left.
