BJP names first list of candidates for MP assembly polls

New Delhi, Nov 2 (IBNS): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday issued the first list of candidates for the Madhya Pradesh Assembly polls.

The single phase election will take place on Nv 28.

The BJP has named 177 candidates in the list.

MP CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan will contest the polls from Budhni constituency.

Urban Development Minister Maya Singh, Forest Minister Gauri Shankar Shejwar and Water Resources Minister Harsh Singh have been denied ticket by the party.

The BJP also named  28 candidates for Telangana and 24 for Mizoram Assembly polls.
