Earlier, police arrested former chairman of APSC Rakesh Paul and his two associate members Samedur Rahman, Basanta Doley and five other persons in connection with the APSC scam.

Meanwhile, a four-member team of Dibrugarh police had interrogated Rakesh Paul, Samedur Rahman, Basanta Doley and arrested three ACS officers at Guwahati central jail.

“During interrogation, the three ACS officers revealed several issues in APSC during Rakesh Paul regime as how jobs were sold,” the police official said.
