New Delhi/IBNS: Amid the ongoing heatwave in Delhi, passengers onboard SpiceJet flight were made to wait inside the aircraft without air conditioner for an hour, media reports said.

Several passengers suffered health deterioration as a result of being made to wait inside the aircraft without an air conditioner.

While some passengers were seen wiping out sweat from their forehead, others were looking extremely uncomfortable as videos showed.

"I was travelling from Delhi to Darbhanga. We were checked in at the Delhi airport and then they did not turn on the air conditioner for an hour. As a result, passengers suffered," one of the passengers said.

Several passengers were feeling unwell due to the extreme heat, it is learnt.

SpiceJet is yet to issue a statement.
