| @indiablooms | Apr 22, 2023, at 07:30 pm

Jalgaon/UNI: Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray UBT senior leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut on Saturday denied any rift in the opposition MVA and exuded confidence that the coalition would come to power in Maharashtra after the Assembly election next year.

Raut, who arrived in Jalgaon on Friday night to review preparations for MVA's Vajramuth rally at Pachora on Sunday, told media persons that UBT chief Uddhav Thackeray along with other MVA leaders will address the rally, which is the second such programme taken by the alliance in North Maharashtra.

Talking about Ajit Pawar's statement that his party NCP is ready to stake claim to the Maharashtra chief minister’s (CM’s) post instead of waiting for the 2024 general elections. Raut said the former state Deputy Chief Minister is capable of handling the hot seat.r

Without naming incumbent chief minister Eknath Shinde, Raut said those without any capability have adorned the coveted post.

Slamming Shinde group leaders, Raut said they are parroting the BJP's tune.

"They will be finished in the next election. We are real tigers and we will fight," he said.
