Abducted police constable found dead in Kashmir

Srinagar, July 21 (IBNS): A police constable, who was abducted by terrorists from Jammu and Kashmir's  Kulgam district on Friday, was found dead on Saturday, police officials said.

 

The police identified the constable as Salem Ahmed Shah.

The Jammu and Kashmir Police ave condemned the attack.

"Our colleague Salem Ahmed Shah was abducted and killed by terrorists in #Kulgam. We condemn this cowardly act. We all stand by his family at this critical juncture.⁦⁦@JmuKmrPolice⁩," the police tweeted.

Aurangzeb's killing:

The latest killing incident had similarity with the murder of army jawan Aurangzeb last month.

Aurangzeb was a resident of Poonch and was on his way home in a private vehicle when he was abducted by terrorists.

A video of Aurangzeb was recorded by terrorists before killing him.

The jawan belonged to 44 Rashtriya Rifles and worked actively for the anti-terror operations in Shopian.
