AAP's Ashish Khetan accused of blasphemy

New Delhi, July 6 (IBNS): Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) spokesperson Ashish Khetan has run into a legal trouble as he is accused of blasphemy in a police complaint lodged by a pro-Sikh group, that states that Khetan has hurt their religious sentiments, reports said.
The incident took place on Saturday while Khetan was launching his party's youth manifesto and allegedly compared it with the Guru Granth Sahib and the Gita. Delhi Chief Minister and AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal was present too.

The act was not received positively as a bunch of angry protesters took to Twitter to vent their anger. Tweets with #KejriinsultsGoldenTemple were also floated.

Though Khetan later apologised, a complaint was filed against him by All India Sikh Students Federation.
