AAP to observe 'Women Safety Day' tomorrow

New Delhi, Nov 25 (IBNS) As the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) turns two on Wednesday, the party said it will be observing the day as 'Women Safety Day'.


AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal tweeted: "2 yrs back, AAP was formed on 26th Nov. We celebrate it as Women safety day tomo."

"Delhi has become unsafe for women. How will AAP govt provide safety to women? Join us at open theatre of Talkatora gardens tomo at 3 pm," he said.

The AAP was formed in 2012.

The party won the Delhi Assembly polls in 2013 and Kejriwal served as the Chief Minister of the national capital for 49 days.
