Kolkata, June 1 (IBNS): With Tollywood actor Abir Chatterjee launching fashion brand Fbb's "Jamai Srestho" campaign in Lake Mall in Kolkata on Thursday, it's time for sons-in-law to enjoy something more than a sumptuous meal cooked specially by their mother-in-law for this 'jamai shosthi' festival.

'Jamai shosthi' is a festival unique to Bengal where the sons-in-law are feted by their mothers-in-law.

The "Jamai Srestho" campaign among other things includes ethnic to western apparels in five different looks - ‘Jinchak’,‘Jazzy’, ‘Jaak’, ‘Jomat’ and ‘Jomkalo’.

Raj Banerjee Marketing head of Big Bazaar (the parent chain of fbb) said, "We want mother-in laws to present five types of garments to their sons-in law so that they look far more handsome."

As a part of the campaign a contest to find out "the suitable son-in law" of Bengal will also be launched.

Raj Banerjee said, "We want all mother-in laws to nominate their son-in law so that not only they can participate but also get exciting cash back offers from Big Bazaar."

The winner of the campaign will get their wardrobe sponsored by Fbb for the whole year.

Abir Chatterjee, face of the campaign said, "Many people will say why only for son-in-law and not for daughters or others, but the main idea is to spread happiness and enjoy the festival."

Chatterjee also posed in the new range of attire on offer.

A thousand rupee cashback will also be provided to all shoppers who purchase above Rs 2500, the company said.
