Agrasain Balika Siksha Sadan celebrates Rabindranath Tagore birth anniversary

Liluah, May 11 (IBNS): Agrasain Balika Siksha Sadan, a school located in Howrah district in West Bengal, celebrated 155th birth anniversary of world bard Rabindranath Tagore with full zest and fervor at the school premise recently.

The teacher's choir gave a splendid rendition of Tagore's songs.

Dance recitals were put up by the students based on Tagore's songs.

Bengali recitation from the Gitanjali were performed during the event.

S.K. Srivastava, the Principal walked down memory lane informing the audience about Tagore's multifaceted personality and its manifestation in his works.
