Yashoda Hospitals' group expands its footprints in Kolkata, to focus on gastrology, neurology

Kolkata/IBNS: Yashoda Hospitals Hyderabad, a super specialty hospital, launched a well-equipped clinic at Salt Lake, Kolkata, to provide a slew of medical technologies and services to patients in the eastern region and Bangladesh.

The newly established clinic at Salt Lake, Kolkata, will focus on a range of specialities including gastrology, neurology, orthopedics, urology, oncology, nephrology, pulmonology, and cardiology.

Apart from these services, this clinic will guide in terms of tele-medicine services for all super specialties.

During the opening, the Director at Yashoda Group of Hospitals, Hyderabad Dr Pavan Gorukanti said, “Yashoda Hospitals Hyderabad offers the best medical services for lung transplant which is yet to be available in the eastern region.

"We are also striving to fill this gap by focusing on expanding our presence in the East and Northeast states of the country so that people can avail themselves of the best treatment near their homes.”

The services which can be availed also include second opinions and treatment estimates, pre-bookings, and end-to-end assistance for patients who are planning to visit Yashoda Hospitals Hyderabad for treatment.

The launch is yet another step by Yashoda Hospitals to expand its footprints in India.

Currently, the Group has 40 plus super-speciality clinics across West Bengal and North-East which include Siliguri, Durgapur, Agartala, Guwahati, Kolkata, Cooch Behar and Birbhum.

The Hospital plans to do 60 plus OPD clinics by 2023 to cater to more patients.
