Swine flu claims three more lives in Gujarat

Gandhinagar, Feb 26 (UNI) Three deaths due to swine flu took place in Gujarat on Tuesday taking the cumulative figure of mortality caused due to H1N1 over 83.

In the last 3 days a total of 8 deaths have taken place.

According to the official bulletin of the health department a total of 92 new cases were also reported in the state today.

Ahmedabad city which has seen over 140 new cases in last 4 days, today saw maximum 37 such cases while Vadodara registered 16, Bhavnagar city and district saw 10 while six cases were registered in Surat.

According to the bulletin issued by health department a total of 703 patients are still under treatment since January 1 till today a total of 2024 cases have been cured so far.
