Maharashtra reports 1,134 new Covid-19 cases, 3 deaths in 24 hours

Mumbai/UNI: Maharashtra has recorded 1,134 new cases of Covid-19 and three deaths in the past 24 hours, according to a health bulletin Saturday.

With new cases, the state’s cumulative case tally has surged to 78,90,346 and the death toll stands at 1,47,864.

Meanwhile, 563 people recovered and they were discharged, taking the overall count of recoveries to 77,37,355.

The state's recovery rate significantly came down to 98.11% and fatality rate 1.87%.

So far 8,10,04,193 samples across in the state were tested in which 78,90,346 (9.74%) tested as positive.

At present, there are 5127 active patients across the state.

At least three positive cases were reported across Aurangabad district of Marathwada region, the bulletin added.
