Kolkata to host two-day long Medicon International 2019 from Friday

Kolkata/IBNS: Promising to address the core developments in general internal medicine which has a direct implication on practice of sub-specialties in clinical medicine, Kolkata is set to host the 6th edition of the Medicon International 2019 from Friday.

The conference will be hosted by Peerless Hospital and B K Roy Foundation with support from the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh and West Bengal Chapter of Association of Physicians of India.

Prof Derek Bell OBE, President of the Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh will deliver the "Shyamal Sen Memorial Oration" this year.

A session on “Violence against doctors. Whose responsibility is it?" will be held on Saturday where Justice Ashok Kumar Roy, Dr Kunal Sarkar, Dr Amit Ghose, Prof (Dr) Krishnangshu Ray, Moupia Nandy (journalist), Dr Madhuchhanda Kar, Miss Binota Roy (lawyer) will participate. 

The two-day conference will conclude on Saturday.
