Covid-19: cases in Rajasthan cross 11,000 mark

Jaipur/UNI: As many as 144 Coronavirus cases were registered during the past 24 hours in Rajasthan taking the total confirmed infections in the state to 11,020.

Five more people succumbed to the ailment during the same period pushing the death toll to 251.

As per the latest data released by the Health department at 1030 hrs on Tuesday, with the addition of 144 cases, the overall tally of the state mounted to 11,020.

Among the new cases that were reported the most(61) were reported from Jaipur, the state capital currently has 2321 confirmed cases.

Bharatpur with 30 new cases, Alwar with 11 were some other districts which saw high number of cases.

As of today Jodhpur has 1887 cases of COVID-19, Bharatpur has 760 cases, Kota has 530 cases, Dungarpur has 381 cases, Jhalawar has 331 cases, Sikar has 296 cases, Alwar has 161, Barmer has 110, Bikaner has 113, Churu has 161 cases, Dausa has 72 cases, Jalor has 172 cases, Sawai Madhopur has 45 cases and Sriganganagar has 10 cases, Ajmer has 368 cases, Banswara has 89 cases, Bara 60, Bhilwara 176, Bundi seven, Chitorgarh 198, Dholpur 69, Hanumangarh 30, Jaisalmer has 74 cases, Jhunjhunu 163, 29 in Karoli, Nagaur 503, 602 at Pali, Pratapgarh 14, Rajasamand 162, Sirohi 210, 175 at Tonk, Udaipur has 587 cases of COVID-19.

Of the total cases registered in the state, 3151 are from migrants.

In Rajasthan, till date, 518,350 samples have been tested of which out of which 503,280 reports have been confirmed to be negative while results of 4050 people are awaited.

A total of 8182 people have recovered in the state, while 7779 patients have been discharged from hospitals.
