Wipro Q3 stands at Rs 2,969 crore

Mumbai/UNI: IT company Wipro reported a flat growth in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended December 31, 2021 at Rs 2,969 crore as against Rs 2,966.7 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal.

The company reported a consolidated revenue of Rs 20,313.6 crore during the October-December quarter as compared to Rs 15,670 crore posted in Q3 FY2021, registering a growth of 29.63 per cent.

“Wipro has delivered a fifth consecutive quarter of strong performance, both on revenues and margins. Order bookings have been strong too, and we have added seven new customers in the more than $100 million revenue league in the last 12 months," Wipro CEO and MD Thierry Delaporte said in a statement.

"Our strategy and improved execution continue to serve us well, and we are confident of building on this momentum. We are also excited to have completed the acquisitions of Edgile and LeanSwift Solutions in the quarter, both of which will add to our capabilities significantly," Delaporte said.

The IT services segment revenue increased by 27.5 per cent at $2,639.7 million (Rs 19,797.75 crore).
