Tata Power becomes founding member of CII- Ethisphere South Asia BELA Chapter

Mumbai/ Kolkata, Oct 17 (IBNS): Tata Power on Tuesday announced that it has been inducted as a founding member of Confederation of Indian Industry’s (CII) - Ethisphere, USA, South Asia Business Ethics Leadership Alliance (BELA) Chapter.

Parshuram Date has been nominated as the committee member to represent Tata Power Group.

CII launched its South Asia Business Ethics Leadership Alliance (BELA) in alliance with Ethisphere Institute of USA, with an aim to create a conducive environment for industrial growth through a community of select Indian and multinational companies who will serve as Founding Members of this exclusive initiative.

Besides Tata Power, other founding members of BELA include Tata Steel, General Electric, Dell, SBI, Walmart, Dun & Bradstreet, 3M, Coca Cola, and Boeing. The launch of the South Asia BELA Chapter at CII’s headquarter was graced by the presence of high-profile senior executives and business leaders.

Speaking on the occasion, Anil Sardana, CEO & MD said, “Our participation in this elite industry forum will help us implement best practices in the areas of ethics and further assist us to foster an ethical environment not only in Tata Power but in the overall industry. At Tata Power, we have always appreciated our stakeholders’ demand for ethical business practices, and have maintained a strong focus on integrity.
