Sensex above 28,000 mark

Mumbai, Jan 16 (IBNS): The market closed on a high note on Friday with the Sensex crossing the 28000 mark.

At the day, Sensex moved up by 46.34 points to stand at 28,121.89.

The Nifty on the other hand ended at 19.65 points above at 8513.80.
