India's wholesale price inflation touches 5.13% in September

New Delhi, Oct 15 (IBNS):  India’s wholesale price inflation has touched  5.13 percent in September, official data released on Monday said.

The figure had touched 4.53 percent in August.

" The annual rate of inflation, based on monthly WPI, stood at 5.13% (provisional) for the month of September, 2018 (over September, 2017) as compared to 4.53% (provisional) for the previous month and 3.14% during the corresponding month of the previous year," read an official statement issued by the government on Monday.

"Build up inflation rate in the financial year so far was 3.87% compared to a build up rate of 1.50% in the corresponding period of the previous year," it said.
