Indian Market: Sensex falls over 100 pts

Mumbai/UNI: The BSE Sensex on Wednesday fell by 146 points at 38,336.03 as selling witnessed in Energy, Auto,Oil and Gas and Technology stocks.

The Nifty of National Stock Exchange eased by 38 points to 11,262.65.

The sectoral indices include Auto, Oil and Gas and Technology erased earlier days gains.

The scrips include Nestle India, Reliance Industries, HCL Technologies, Maruti Suzuki and Infosys slipped in opening session.

The Mid Cap moved up by 0.58 per cent and Small Cap by 0.63 per cent.

The losers were Nestle India by 1.31 per cent to Rs 16,875.50, Reliance Industries by 1.17 per cent to Rs 2151.95, HCL Technologies by 1.06 per cent to Rs 705.35 and Infosys by 0.85 per cent to Rs 954.55.

The gainers were Indusind Bank by 4 per cent to Rs 548, Ultracemco by 2.51 per cent to Rs 4233.65, Tata Steel by 2.51 per cent to Rs 366.85, Sun Pharma by 1.66 per cent to Rs 490.50 and L& T by 1.65 per cent to Rs 928.05.

In 30 scrips, 17 advanced while 13 declined.
