Indian Market: Sensex drops 566.09 pts

Mumbai: The BSE Sensex on Wednesday slid by 566.09 pts to close at 59,610.41 on heavy selling in IT, Technology, Bsnkex and Finance stocks.

The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too slipped 149.75 pts to close at 17,807.65.

The sensex registered the day's high and low at 59,941.57 and 59,509.84 pts respectively.

The Nifty recorded the day's high and low at 17,901 and 17,779.85 respectively.
