Indian Market: Sensex bounces back 263.86 pts, ends in green

Mumbai, Aug 30 (UNI) The BSE Sensex on Friday bounced back by 263.86 points at 37,332.79, snapping a negative streak of last two sessions ahead of the June quarter GDP numbers, due later in the day.

Even, announcement to be made by the Finance Ministry on merger of public sector banks (PSBs) increased buying interest at the counters.

The National Stock Exchange (NSE) too rose by 74.95 points to 11,023.25.

The Sensex registered day's high and low at 37,397.97 and 36,829.81 points respectively.

The Nifty recorded day's high and low at 11,042.60 and 10,874.80 points respectively.
