'Moderate' earthquake jolts Haryana, tremors felt in Delhi

New Delhi, June 2 (IBNS): An earthquake measuring 5 on the Richter Scale hit Haryana on Friday, officials said.

The earthquake jolted Haryana at 4:25 am.

The IMD called the intensity of the quake a 'moderate'.

The epicentre of the quake is located at latitude 28.8 degrees north and longitude 76.2 degrees east.

The quake occurred at a depth of 22 kms.

Tremors were felt in Delhi and NCR region.

No casualty or loss of life has been reported so far.
