Mild tremors felt in parts of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, no casualties

Hyderabad/UNI: Mild tremors were reported in the parts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh on Sunday morning.

No casualties or property loss was reported from anywhere in the both Telugu states.

Pulichintala in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh and at parts of Suryapet district of Telangana remained tense after residents felt tremors in their area.

Recorded three earthquakes between 7.17 am and 8.20 am, people in Pulichintala while at Chintalapalem and Mallacheruvu mandals of Suryapet rushed out of their homes on feeling vibrations and hearing sounds.

According to the National Geophysical Research Institute (NGRI), the tremors recorded on the Richter scale were at 3.0, 2.7 and 2.3.
