Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta 'slapped' during public event, attacker detained

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta was allegedly slapped by a man during a public hearing event in the national capital at her residence on Wednesday, media reports said.

The attacker, whose identity has not been revealed so far, is believed to be in his 30s.

Police immediately detained him.

The BJP later confirmed the incident, with party spokesperson Praveen Shankar saying Gupta was targeted during the hearing, reported India Today.
