Abu Dhabi, Aug 24 (IBNS): Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday completed his trip to UAE and left the nation for Bahrain.

Modi's UAE visit was special as he received the ‘Order of Zayed’ from the government of the nation during the trip.

It is the highest civilian honor of the UAE.

MEA spokesperson Raveesh Kumar tweeted: "Special gesture from a special friend. After the completion of a short but remarkable visit to UAE, as a special gesture HH Crown Prince MohamedBinZayed sees off PM @narendramodi as he embarks for Manama, Bahrain on the third leg of his 3-nation visit."

Modi arrived in the UAE from France.

Modi on Saturday said he felt 'humbled' after being conferred with the ‘Order of Zayed’ by the government of the UAE.

He dedicated the award to the Indians.

"Humbled to be conferred the ‘Order of Zayed’ a short while ago. More than an individual, this award is for India’s cultural ethos and is dedicated to 130 crore Indians. I thank the UAE Government for this honour," he tweeted.

Modi said he had an excellent meeting with the Crown Prince.

What is Order of Zayed:

Order of Zayed is the highest civil decoration of the UAE which was conferred earlier in April 2019 in recognition of the distinguished leadership of Prime Minister Modi for giving a big boost to bilateral relations between the two countries.
