Afghanistan: Five policemen killed in blast

Kabul, Nov 8 (IBNS): At least five cops were killed as a bomb blast rocked southern Paktia province in Afghanistan on Monday, media reports said on Tuesday.

Provincial police chief, Brig. Gen. Qader Khan Zadran, told Afghanistan's Pajhwok Afghan News that the incident took place in Ahmadkhel village of Ahmadkhel district of the province on Monday evening.

The mishap reportedly occurred when the tank, in which they were travelling, hit a roadside bomb.
