Afghanistan: 5 members of a family killed in rocket attack

Kabul, Apr 25 (IBNS) A rocket attack has killed five member of a family in eastern Laghman province of Afghanistan on Friday, media reports said on Saturday.

"According to local government officials, the incident took place late on Friday night after a motar round fired by militants landed on a residential house," Khaama Press reported.

Provincial governor spokesman Sarhadi Zwak was quoted as saying by the agency that the victims were members of a single family which included four women and eleven others including children were injured.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
