Afghanistan: Taliban leader among five casualties in US drone strike

Kabul, Mar 1 (IBNS): At least five militants, including a Taliban leader, were among casualties in a drone strike, local Khaama Press reported.

The strike took place in the country's Nangarhar province.

While the commander and another soldier were killed, three others suffered injuries, the agency quoted provincial police spokesman Hazrat Hussain Mashraqiwal as saying.

The drone strike was carried out by the US.
