Srinagar, Jan 15 (IBNS): Actor Imran Khan who will making his directorial debut with his film 'Sargoshiyan' was recently a part of J&K tourism press conference which was held in Mumbai in the presence on the state's director tourism of the state Mahmood Ahmad Shah.

The Press conference was held to promote J&K Tourism as due to the recent turmoil the tourism activity got completely disturbed resulting to huge loss to the Tourism Industry.

The recent snow fall has given a fresh impetus to everything.

Imran Khan who shot his entire film in Kashmir is very glad that director tourism of the state Mahmood Ahmad Shah appreciated his effort and loved the film.

Mahmood feels, films like Sargoshiyan will help to change the perception of people towards Kashmir. Private screening of the film was held in the city for Mahmood.

Imran is indeed very happy getting amazing review from the director tourism.

J&K  used to be favorite Bollywood destination, before the onset of militancy.

There was a time when films seem to be incomplete if they were not shot in Kashmir. The state has been instrumental in building the career of various actors. Fantastic songs from 60's and 70's  were shot in the state.

Actor-director Imran Khan has tried to bring back the lost essence of shooting in Kashmir with his film Sargoshiyan by capturing the valley with beautiful flowering meadows, lakes, snow-capped peaks, and some lush green gardens.

Sargoshiyan would be released under the banner of Imran Khan Production's and is slated to release in March 2017.

Veteran actors like Alok Nath, Farida Jalal, Tom Alter and Shahbaz Khan are playing prominent roles in the film, along with Sara Afreen Khan, Aditi Bhatia, Hasan Zaidi and Indraneil Sengupta.
