Salman Khan more than a producer for Nikhil Advani's 'Hero'

Mumbai, Apr 25 (IBNS): The most inimitable star of Bollywood, Salman Khan, is all set to sing another track, this time for friend and director Nikhil Advani's 'Hero', which is a remake of Subhash Ghai's popular film of the same name.

He will be rendering his voice for a ballad, featuring the lead pair Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty.

The two young actors, being groomed by both Salman Khan & Nikhil Advani, will be making their Bollywood debut with this movie.

This film will be the contemporary version of Ghai’s Hero of the 80s. The track will be in the finale of the movie that will show the male and female protagonists’ lives in a flashback.

The song O Khuda will also be sung by Palak Muchhal.

When asked about the song, the film's young music composer, Amaal Malik, said, “Nikhil's brief to me was that it's a song about two lovers against the world. So, we have lots of cellos, violins and larger-than-life flashbacks. The fact that Sooraj is lip-syncing to Salman's voice makes the song really big and parts of it will be used in the background score through the lovers' journey.”

The song promises to reflect the film's essence, which is completely unlike the original. It has already been filmed, and now the crew of the film is excitedly waiting for Salman’s rendition.

The actor is taking special care and initiative by talking to the young actors and ensuring the movie looks its best.

Hope the love and bonds in the film industry remain and continue to grow. Looks like, this version of ‘Hero’ will have a lot to show to its audience. We can’t wait anymore!
