A R Rahman supports his student Khamosh Shah for Hunterrr

Mumbai, Mar 11 (IBNS): Last week A.R. Rahman especially flew down to Mumbai for his student Khamosh Shah.

Khamosh Shah has made his debut as a music director with the music of Phantom Films Hunterrr. This is the first complete album he has directed and composed.

Khamosh Shah studied under A R Rahman at his music school and so the music maestro came to the city to witness his student’s final mixing of the album. He wanted to be present to support and encourage his student.

A R Rahman said that it was a proud moment for him to witness his student taking the centre stage, while Khamosh Shah shared that he owed all that he had learnt about music to A R Rahman.

Khamosh Shah has got an eclectic mix of songs in his album and the music is being widely appreciated. The album is a mix of quirky and fun songs.

The title track Hunterrr 303 that is sung by Bappi Lahiri is being appreciated the most and the song is being hummed by a lot of people.

Written and directed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni, Hunterrr features Gulshan Devaiah, Radhika Apte and Sai Tamhankar in lead roles and is scheduled for release on 20th March 2015.
