Will Sachin play today?

Mumbai, Apr 25 (IBNS): Will he play or will he not? That is the question in the mind of every Mumbai Indians and Sachin Tendulkar fan at this moment.
In the Indian Premier League (IPL) final to be played on Sunday night at D Y Patil Stadium here, Mumbai Indians with Sachin as captain (if he plays) would take on M S Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings.
The Master Blaster, who is in terrific form and is the holder of the Orange Cap for scoring 570 runs in just 14 matches, had hurt his right hand during the semi final match against Bangalore Royal Challengers. With five stitches on his hand, it is yet to be decided whether he would be fit enough to play on Sunday.
The decision is expected to come a little later in the day.
Tendulkar, winner of the best batting and best captain award categories at the inaugural IPL Sahara Awards in both the Jury and Viewers Choice categories, is the key to Mumbai Indians’ campaign.
The batting maestro, who is currently in his 20th year of international cricket, celebrated his 37th birthday on Saturday.
