Sachin Tendulkar turns 37

Mumbai, Apr 24 (IBNS): Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar turns 37 on Saturday.
There seems no stopping the "God of Cricket", who, even after a career spanning 20 years, is at the top of his game. In the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL), he was on Friday declared the best batsman.
The top scorer of the tournament, Tendulkar has scored 570 runs in 14 matches. He has scored five half centuries. The master batsman has also been named best batsman and best captain in the Viewers' Choice category.
However, it is uncertain if Tendulkar would play Sunday's IPL final against Chennai Super Kings since he injured his hand during the semi final.
Several Bollywood stars who attended the IPL awards programe here on Friday wished the prolific batsman the best on his birthday.
"It's because of Sachin I started taking interest in the game and finally fell in love with cricket," said Amrita Rao. Shilpa Shetty, who is also an owner of Rajasthan Royals, also wished him the very best.
"Sachin was born to play cricket," Chennai Super Kings skipper M S Dhoni reportedly said.
Fans would be hoping that Tendulkar is declared fit to play in Sunday's final.
